The Albano Sardoeira Municipal Library, located in the Casa da Cerca, in the old Santa Clara Convent, is comprised of the following areas:
Atrium (reception and book lending);
Multi-use Room (equipped with advanced technology for conferences, exhibitions and other cultural activities);
Multimedia Area (research area, DC-ROM, DVD and video viewing, internet access, self-learning system with basic computer programs);
A Child-Youth Area (reading material for this age group and a story-telling area);
Adult section (newspapers, reference books and on-site research material);
Internal services (document conservation and storage and technical services areas).
