Remarkable archaeological place by the persistence of settlement, at least since the Chalcolithic period to the Middle Ages. The medieval town, where is the ruins of a Romanesque church, a necropolis of tombs dug into the rock and the remains of a tower rocker. During the archaeological excavations between 1987 and 1991 was detected the presence of datable occupations Chalcolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age. Inside the ruins of the church was found in XIX mid-century XIX, one with a votive inscription referring to Baniensis Civitas, the only significant remnant of Roman detected so far. In some granite crags of the season, there are serpentine carvings that could be Iron Age. Is rated a Public Interest.
