The Berço Vidreiro (handcrafted glass) works in "Casa das Heras”, in La Salette Park, and it is associated with the rich heritage of the history of the glass in Oliveira de Azeméis. A visit to this place allows to know the process of the glass production and the techniques used, as well as the importance of this activity in Oliveira de Azeméis since it was created the first glass factory, in the XV century.
Nowadays, the production is made by people connected to the handcraft creation of glass. From their hands, works of rare beauty are made and can be bought in this space.
