In the third Sunday of January, it is celebrated the festivity of Saint Name ofJesus, more known by ”Bi-TÓ-RÓ”. It has as centre a “rosquilhas” branch and it is alsoincluded in bread cult chapter. Its origin, in popular version, resides in in a fact occurredin the village, the appearance of a disease in the village, which transformed the village into a infirmary, but the people guided by its faith in the child, decided in union, topromise a festivity to the Saint Name of Jesus in the search by the cure. The disease, as a miracle, disappeared and the people grateful did the festivity to the Saint Name of Jesus. January was the chosen month, four weeks after Christmas.
