The Moinho de Senra (Senra Mill) is located in the center of the town of Valongo, on the right bank of the river Simão. It is known as Moinho da Senra, because it is located in a place with the same name. It is a municipal property. It used to be a mill of “consortes”, (which means property of several owners). It grinded on the months of water abundance, and was inactive in summer months. The Corredor Ecológico (Ecological Corridor) runs along this mill, from the Parque da Juventude untill the village of Couce.
