Description
In 1909, the pillory was destroyed and all its pieces scattered. Mayor Narcizo Alves da Cunha decided to gather them and to rebuild it.
It consists of a rounded shaft fitted into a parallelepiped plinth on a base formed by three squared steps. The pillory is finished at the top by a sphere and also features the national coat-of-arms crowned by a rounded pinnacle.
