Description
The small village of Porto Bom, in the parish of Boivães, Municipality of Ponte da Barca is a rural area where we can find many terraces and water courses. In the entrance of the village there is a stone cross with a sphere and a cross on the top. At the bottom of a narrow street there is the Chappel of Santo António all made in granite.  Going  up the stairs of bell tower there is a breathtaking scenery over the mountains. Agriculture, grazing activity and livestock are the main sources of income to the inhabitants of Porto Bom. We have also the opportunity to appreciate two watermills and the bridge of one arch only.
