Pottery Museum

Barcelos
Description
The 19th century House of Mendanha Benevides Cyrnes, since 1965, houses the Pottery Museum. It appeared under the name Regional Museum of Ceramics, in this land of deep handicraft traditions, thanks to a precious donation of the ethnographer Joaquim Sellés Paes Villas Boas. Today it possesses approximately 7,000 objects.
