Maia
Description
This terraced hill with the Chapel of Santo Ovídeo at the top (feast day on the last Sunday of August) was once a fortress. The granite cross on the hill dates back to 1773. From the top there is a panoramic view of Ferreiró and Senhora de Agonia (Santa Maria de Avioso), Cidadelha to the east (Santa Maria de Avioso) and S. Pedro de Avioso and Gemunde to the west.
